Screen Delamination, Bubbling and Edge Lift: Repair Before Replacement

Phone, tablet and laptop screens are built from cover glass, touch layer and display panel bonded with OCA optical adhesive. After liquid damage, drops, heat or simple ageing, the layers separate: edge lift, white edges, air bubbles, clouding and touch drift.

This does not always mean a new screen. If the panel displays normally, touch works and the flex cable is intact, most cases can be re-laminated: separation, glue removal, vacuum lamination and autoclave bubble removal — usually cheaper than a full assembly.
